Join us in Studio 27 this Friday June 5th for an open studio in the evening, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
We will be featuring a sampling of the several series Kathryn Wagner shot over the past year. Refreshments will be available, and you can easily stop in and see the work along with the wonderful images featured for the upcoming Festival of the Photograph next week.
Hope to see you there!
This is an earlier image of mine, shot during a series of images made on a historic barn and farm in Keswick Virginia, just outside of Charlottesville. The farrier, Russ Hite uses an older technique of blacksmiths called ‘hot shoeing’ which produces the clouds of smoke enveloping him in the shot. I welcome you to check out the entire series of Rosemond Farm photographs here.
